Presidents’ Ride

It’s that time of year again to honor the Past Presidents of SMCHA for all their hard work and dedication to this wonderful Horsemen’s Association. Please join us for a beautiful trail ride through Huddart Park, followed by a fabulous barbecue lunch at the East Meadow.
We will begin gathering for the Presidents’ Ride on Runnymede Road; where a Continental Breakfast will be provided. Plan on arriving early if you want to partake in all of the festivities! Our ride through the Sculpture Garden and Huddart Park will deliver us to the East Meadow picnic area, where we will enjoy a hearty barbecue lunch. For those of you who can’t join us on the Trail Ride, you are still invited to join us for a wonderful lunch (Huddart Park – 1100 Kings Mountain Road, Woodside – East Meadow Picnic Area).
Continental Breakfast from 9:30 am to 10:30 am
Trail Ride begins at 10:30 am from Runnymede Road
Lunch at the East Meadow Picnic Area in Huddart Park around 12:30 pm
Ride back to Runnymede Road around 2:00 pm

$20.00 for SMCHA Adult Members
$10.00 for SMCHA Junior Members
$25.00 for all Non-Members
Directions: From Highway 280, take Woodside Road exit and turn westbound. Turn right onto Canada Road. Proceed approximately 1.2 miles. Turn left on Runnymede Road. Trailer parking is available all along Runnymede Road. Look for the yellow “San Mateo County Horsemen’s Association” banner for the central meeting place!
Note: All Junior riders MUST wear a helmet and riding boots, and MUST ride using a saddle and a bridle. NO stallions or dogs are allowed on any SMCHA trial rides or in San Mateo County Parks. Please review the SMCHA Trail Etiquette Rules on our Website @ www.smcha.org.
